Thiago is a Virtual Production Specialist at Girraphic and previously worked as a Lead Unreal Engine Generalist for Virtual Production at Pixomondo Toronto. He has extensive experience working closely with directors and producers during the Previz phase on shows like The Boys, Halo, and Nightbooks. Thiago is also an experienced Unreal Operator and has worked on shows such as Star Trek Strange New Worlds and Star Trek Discovery, controlling and making changes to the Unreal Environments and LED Volumes during shooting.
Thiago has also worked as a Lead with the talented team at Pixomondo to create stunning environments, Real-Time VFX, and Props for shows such as Avatar: The Airbender. Recently, he was hired by Epic Games as an Education Advisor for the Education Team, where he works on developing relationships with schools and companies in Brazil, Portugal, and Canada.
Thiago is also an Unreal Engine Consultant for Brazil and Canada's Top Live Broadcast companies. He worked closely with Rogers and Sportsnet, Canada's second-largest sports broadcasting company, to create and deploy solutions for their new On-Air Virtual and Extended Reality Sets and Interactive showpieces.
In addition to his work, Thiago teaches Unreal Engine for Gaming, Animation, and VFX at Seneca College and the Toronto Metropolitan University on several Unreal Engine courses in his free time.
